Creating an account
- Contact person
- Company name — One of name or company is required.
- Address — With auto lookup, see below.
- BTW / KVK — With VIES validation for EU VAT numbers.
- IBAN
- External ID — Link to an ID from your CRM/POS/chatbot.
- Language
Address lookup
While entering an address PayDock searches live. NL businesses are found via PDOK (postal code + number); for international addresses Google Places is used to recognize company names and fill in the full address.
Contact persons
Each customer can have multiple contact persons (like admin, sales, finance). From here you can also invite a contact person to the customer portal.
Bulk import
Upload a CSV with customers. PayDock auto-detects columns (name, email, phone, address, VAT, IBAN, external_id, language). You can manually adjust the column mapping before import.
Custom fields
Define extra fields under Settings > Custom fields. Supported types: text, number, boolean, dropdown, multi-select, date, URL and email. Available on customers, products, invoices, quotes and subscriptions.
Account detail
On the customer card you find tabs for Dashboard, Contact persons, Invoices, Quotes, Subscriptions and Activity. You see ARR, outstanding, total invoiced, mandate status and balance right in the header.
