Invoices
Create, send and manage your invoices.
Creating an invoice
PayDock uses a 3-step wizard to create invoices:
- Step 1: Client & date — Select a client, invoice date and due date (default 30 days).
- Step 2: Content — Add sections and line items. Each section can have a title and contain multiple lines.
- Step 3: Send — Preview, choose the email address and template, and send.
AI generation
You can also have an invoice generated by AI. Describe in plain language what you want to invoice and the AI creates the sections, lines and amounts. You can always manually adjust the result.
Invoice statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Concept | Not yet sent. Can be edited. |
| Sent | Sent to the customer. Awaiting payment. |
| Partially paid | Part of the amount has been received. |
| Paid | Fully paid. |
| Overdue | The due date has passed. |
| Credited | A credit note has been created for it. |
Public link
Every invoice has a unique public link. Via this link the customer can view the invoice and pay directly online — without logging in. The link is automatically included in the email.
Credit notes
If you need to correct an invoice, create a credit note. It's linked to the original invoice and deducts the amount.
Collective invoices
With the Spont POS integration you can merge multiple POS orders into one collective invoice per customer. See the Spont POS section for more information.
Reminders
Send payment reminders for overdue invoices. You can set up to 3 reminders, each with its own email template.
UBL / XML
Every sent invoice automatically includes a UBL 2.1 XML attachment. This is the standard for e-invoicing in the Netherlands and the EU. You can set a BCC address to send a copy to your accountant.
